Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Splashtop is the preferred remote access/desktop tool for our company. I can easily access any of the companies systems on the local or external network from anywhere quickly and easily. This allows the ability to perform maintenance and upgrades as well as trouble shoot and correct any issues users may have. Screen sharing and chat allow using Splashtop as an instructional tool as well. This is one of the tools I use on a daily basis.

Sometimes run into connections issues

Return on Investment

Better use of time. I can remotely fix multiple issues on multiple machines at the same time from one location.
Easy for novice users. So I can setup remote access to the bookkeeping system
I can work on systems even when out of town

Support Rating

I switched to Splashtop from Logmein eight years ago. Support has always been pretty easy and quick with Splashtop. We have had a few times when were able to scheduled follow ups with support remoted into machines to help trouble shoot. Over all support is quick and easy because I do not have many issues.

Splashtop Security

Splashtop has grown from a simple remote desktop service to a full remote support tool. They have added multiple monitors, chat, file transfers, verification and two factor security. I believe they may have implemented some of those options first. Splashtop has become a serious IT tool that is scalable across company and enterprise size and needs.

Onboarding with Splashtop

Setup and onboarding are easy. I was up and running in minutes. Now you can create you own deployable installation files which speeds up the process even more.

Likelihood to Recommend

Splashtop makes fixing minor issues easy. Sometimes I need a user to reset the browser and cache for a service/site to work properly. I can log in with Spalshtop and fix that quicker/easier than walking someone through it. Also allows to me to log in and clear printer spools for users. It's the little things, but Splashtop lets me do that.
