Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
We primarily utilize this tool to provide remote support to our users. We have several users who also utilize this tool to access their devices remotely.
Pros
- Great display on remote sessions.
- The ability to open a chat window prior to remote onto device.
- Quick and easy file transfer to device off the domain.
Cons
- For our use case, the concerns we have had in the past have been addressed with feature updates.
- Splashtop has eliminated the need for users to purchase additional licenses to access devices on our network, while still providing access to necessary internal file shares.
With Splashtop, we can provide support to our remote users as well as users on other campuses. We have MFA set up on all accounts to ensure that all accounts and access are secure.
Onboarding new users is relatively simple. Splashtop has already tailored an email that goes out to users with great detail on the steps they need to take to finalize their account setup.
