Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
Splashtop is being used by all departments of our organization. Even for the communication with the customers. The remote access is mostly used to keep all our systems up and running correctly 24/7 and provides updates in our services without the need to physically be at the office daily.
Pros
- Easy access to the systems
- Transfer of files between computers, even with different operating systems
- Remote wake a system when need it.
- Never had any serious problem to use Splashtop their systems are always there, working flawlsessly when I need them.
Cons
- For the needs of our organization, there are no changes we think that we need currently.
- And we saw the additional safety feature on the mobile app for access with biometric credentials excellent.
- Less office hours mean more time for our customers, so that gives us opportunity to provide better quality service.
- The ability to move files remotely and control systems 24/7 gave us the ability to have fewer hours spend on commuting to our HQ and better quality of life.
In the period of more than 3 years we are using Splashtop we find the security features are really up to the standards we want. And the reports we get about the connections and the users log times are perfect for our reports and understanding in case an issue comes up.
The whole experience we had from the first moment is that it is to set it up, easy to apply authorization and even easy to connect someone whose computer is not near and has to be done from distance.
Yes - Splashtop replaced another remote access software, and it gave us better and more stable connections to our systems with the cost that is making it available and for organizations such as ours.
