Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use this software to control the two main pc's in our projection and streaming setup at church. This software is fast, reliable and doesn't feel like bloatware like some of the other services I have used in the past. I love the fact I can use a mobile app from my iPhone as well to get things setup anywhere in the world. Would highly recommend this service especially for the price.

Support Rating

I had a question about which license I should purchase and in no time I was chatting with a real person and not an AI chatbot. That was such a welcomed experience. They told me which service would be best for me and how it works etc etc. I was very satisfied with their response time.

Splashtop Security

I like the fact that I get to use my own two factor authenticator app that I use for most of my other software. I use 'AUTHY' and this supports it fully. The backup option of your cell phone and the multiple keys you can download and print to save for later is a sign of relief.

Onboarding with Splashtop

I was able to get Splashtop installed and set up on two pcs and have the software installed on my main desktop and my phone in a matter of less than 30 minutes. That alone speaks for itself of the ease of use of this software. I had zero issues setting it up or getting it operational.

Products Replaced

Yes - We were using anyviewer, but our firewall kept blocking the connection because anyviewer wanted to send all our traffic through either china or Russia. I found that very concerning and was looking for a different solution as fast as I could. Splashtop came up many times in searches and did not disappoint. The free trial was very welcomed so I didn't have to pay anything to try out the features and software.

Likelihood to Recommend

For full control of a pc this is definitely the software to use. If you are looking for just a quick check in and remote you may be better suited with something free, but for me having the entire suite of features is a must, especially the multiple monitor support being as I use this on a computer which provides slides to the church.
