Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop
Splashtop's Remote Access is currently being used by our Live Production Department. It's ability to remote into our systems from anywhere is a huge game changer! Being able to adjust camera settings, check recorder status', turn music on and off, and remotely operate, turn music on and off, and remotely operate computers from our FOH has made life much easier.
Pros
- Splashtop excels at remote operation, being able to log into a computer and use it as if I were there in person.
Cons
- When remoting into computers with multiple displays, being able to turn each one into its own window would be extremely helpful.
- Considering it's a valuable tool, I've been able to use it to take the stress off my operators and give them more peace of mind that I'm always available to help.
I think Splashtop's encryption is suitable for our needs.
It was relatively easy. Anyone with any experience deploying programs will find Splashtop an easy install.
