Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

We use it company-wide for remote users. Some of our users need to access "jump boxes" inside the network that have specific hardware that their laptops do not have. We also use it in IT as it is very helpful to remote assist users. It is very dependable and it is rarely blocked by firewalls.
  • Remote desktop
  • File send / receive
  • Multi Monitor support
  • Black out screen (so people don't see what you are doing)
  • sending control commands
  • stability
  • There is only one bug where you can connect to the machine you are on. It warns you about it, but if you bump a key or click it connects and you get in a loop. That is about the only thing I can think of - it is pretty flawless.
  • Cheaper than TeamViewer
  • Works all the time
  • Simple for users
That is the thing - I have never had to connect with support. It just works all the time.
They have great security as it is industry standard. I am very confident in it versus some others that have had poor security (like VNC). The client is secure, and further lets you tighten security if you want an extra layer for people connecting. It also has good logging.
It took a few minutes and maybe an hour max to get the first five computes up and cooking.
Yes - TeamViewer - cost and performance

Do you think Splashtop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Splashtop's feature set?

Yes

Did Splashtop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Splashtop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Splashtop again?

Yes

It is well suited for just about anytime you need a remote desktop. It is way cheaper than TeamViewer and performs better. They have a different product for if you are always helping people (and not able to install the client), so in that scenario, I would use the correct, specific product and not enterprise.
