Splashtop - a great and fairly priced tool
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We use Splashtop to support our clients in multiple ways regarding their IT needs. Some computers need to be monitored and managed remotely, this is where remote access comes into play. Support is mainly used for service calls.
Pros
- managing client computers
- engaging with clients remotely
- managing our own users
Cons
- accessing tablets
- accessing phones
- client through browser support so downloading isn't required
- smaller investment compared to other tools
- made it possible to pass costs on to end-users
security is well implemented into Splashtop, no complaints there
on-boarding was easy, however, it was necessary to adjust to their system coming from a different tool.
Yes - Teamviewer. It seems Teamviewer has grown to a point where they don't care for smaller clients anymore. They were totally inflexible finding a license solution which would work for us, even though we used it for a couple of years.
