Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop SOS
I use it to remotely support my clients. I am a 1 person IT support provider so, It's very important to be able to remotely support clients whenever possible. In combination with collaborative tools like [Microsoft] Teams, I'm able to assist more clients more efficiently.
- The ability to switch users (my clients are not admin), I am able to login as my admin account when needed.
- Support for AzureAD, was critical as I support mostly cloud-based environments
- Splashtop SOS +10 was very affordable, as a 1 person IT provider. Other solutions were too expensive or not well trusted.
- I've experienced an issue with disconnecting/reconnecting after switching users recently.
- Support for user switching
- Azure AD support
- Ability to login as an admin
- SOS client
- It has saved time in transit to customer and even time on the phone, I am able to remote in and quickly get a better understanding or resolve the issue
Initially, it was the cost but, I almost went with TeamViewer because at the time of evaluation Splashtop [SOS] did not support user switching while staying connected (running as a service). This was a deal-breaker for me due to my clients not being an admin. I was going to go with TeamViewer. During my testing, that very feature was added and I was able to test it. It worked great and allowed me to move forward with SplashTop [SOS].
