Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

My team uses Sprout Social for various functions. That's the great thing about it. We use it for scheduling content across platforms which helps in productivity on our small team. We use it to pull reports for profile performance and post performance whenever we get requests from different departments and also to see how our content is doing and what we need to do better. We use to organize posts if they are part of a particular campaign by tagging them in Sprout Social.

Pros

  • Different types of reports to generate

Cons

  • The speed at which the site loads
  • Easier way to understand and visualize reports and engagements and other metrics in Reports
  • The Date picker can be wonky at times
  • Because of Sprout Social being so robust, the onboarding time can be tricky to navigate on smaller teams when things have to keep moving
  • The Reports hub has helped a lot of last minute requests from SR execs that need numbers right away
  • The scheduler has helped with productivity and work life balance
We aren't there yet but I can see how it will in the future.
It is fairly intuitive but there are sections that feel clunky and can be improved.

Sprout Social is robust. It is useful for the entry level social media professional all the way to the top. Every one who touches social media has a reason to use Sprout Social. Whether scheduling content, pulling reports and metrics, approving posts before they go live - it through and easy to learn.
