Sprout Social is well-suited for small social media organizations and firms. I use the platform for about 20 clients, each of which has about three social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads). I would like it if Sprout could provide analytic reporting on Threads, but I know that the platform is still in its early stages.

It is great for social media marketing in my company to keep everything together, such as posting, reports, and messaging customers. However, I wouldn't see it suiting a company that barely uses social media, as it really helps with major posting. Also, I don't find it beneficial for needing to rush post things such as within an hour or Instagram stories.

Sprout Social makes it easy for all of the members of [...]'s Global Social Media team to collaborate on posts, draft copy, and schedule posts ahead of time. It also makes it simple for me to pull reporting for our LinkedIn pages for our CMO to bring to her board meetings.

I would recommend Sprout because it's excellent at pulling the data I need for my social posts. It's also great for posting on different platforms. I also enjoy the AI Assist for drafting posts. I don't always use the exact copy, but it helps inspire how I update the copy.

My only big issue with Sprout is the price. It's definitely worth it, but working for a nonprofit, you have to really sell it to get approval. Luckily, I was able to sell it to leadership!

I feel like Sprout Social is well suited for many scenarios. I work within a marketing team of three for a small family-owned physical therapy business. Sprout Social is useful for us, just like I know it has been useful to much larger companies with more individuals and moving parts within their digital marketing team. If you are looking to streamline your social media content/scheduling/engagement/review management and gain easy to use reporting features to measure the impact of your efforts, then Sprout Social can help you too!
