Overall Satisfaction with Squarespace

Squarespace has been used to develop a web portal for a speciality food company. It is addressing the problem of trying to get more customers to be interested in ordering speciality food online. This site was used across the entire organization and we were constantly making improvements to the site.

Cons

  • The forum needs to have more users
  • Help center can have more videos
  • Need more templates for more industries
  • Reduced the amount of time to create a website
  • Reduced the cost involved to create a website
  • Had a shorter ROI
Squarespace is easier to use. In addition, Squarespace costs less to maintain. The site looks more professional and clean looking. The multilingual website tool helps to translate the content of the website from English to another language. I also liked all the resources that came with the product so that I was able to get up and running quickly.

Squarespace is well suited for small companies that need an effective website to help promote their product or service to a specific group of customers. It is great if you need to market your business, publish a blog, promote an event, or just sell products. I would not try to use it to market myself for a position at a major corporation.
