Overall Satisfaction with Symantec VIP

Symantec VIP is being used across our entire organization. It is used by every single team and user we have. We use Symantec VIP to authenticate our users to our virtual private network. Symantec VIP is compatible with all of our users' devices and it is very user friendly; both on the user end and on the management end.

Cons

  • It's already pretty awesome
  • Maybe being able to authenticate via TouchID or FaceID would be awesome

  • Duo Security
Duo is good but Symantec VIP really takes the cake. Both Symantec VIP and Duo Security are used as a two factor application but Symantec VIP also allows you to use physical tokens. Some of our users prefer those over their phones and we can easily leverage Symantec VIP for that.

Symantec VIP is best suited in environments where you need two factor authentication. As explained before, Symantec VIP is super easy to use and manage for our users across our entire organization. If you have your users using a virtual private network, Symantec VIP is the way to go; no doubt about it!
