Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
In my previous role as Senior System Administrator we needed solve a remote access issue. We had users spread across multiple buildings using a variety of clients such as linux, mac, and windows. The software is primarily used by the IT department to remote and solve issues with users and their computer systems. Some of the key features we found useful was one, it was the most secure option out there, our users are primarily doctors and professors working on very sensitive material. Also the easy management of the clients inside Teamviewer was really helpful. These and many other features added to the decision we had to purchase Teamviewer.
Teamviewer also solves the issue where we had users that were not on the local network. They were able to allow us access to wherever they were in the world and we could login and solve potential issues they were seeing.
I would highly recommend Teamviewer over all other remote technology applications. Easy to use, setup and manage.

Pros
- Management of client base can get setup in groups to quickly find the clients you are looking for.
- Secure connections were key for us and it is the most secure remote technology out there right now.
- Ability to push remote files to the computers was a great added benefit.
Cons
- On the Mac side Apple Remote Desktop has the ability to push installations, granted its built for mac, this functionality would be great for Teamviewer to add.
- Better customer service for users of all client types
- Ease of access to all our client base
- Time saver, we didn't have to visit each individual building every time there was an issue.
- GoToMeeting,WebEx Support Center
Teamviewer does very well against its competition with ease of use, and ability to manage many clients.
Using TeamViewer
All have different skill groups but Teamviewer allows all of them to remote and manage the areas they need to support.
6 - I did not come across any issues to support Teamviewer its self.

- Host of great additional features.
- Remote to users anywhere in the world when on business trips
- Setup custom groups to easily navigate all our clients.
- Track time spent in each remote session
