Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
It's being used primarily to assist IT in work on computers across campuses, or occasionally a server managed by another department if we're offsite and need quick access. A few are also using it to access a desktop that has access to all of our cameras for both campuses. It's not used much beyond that, but it is easy to use and helps with the quick fix or minor training.
- Provides easy access to work on a computer to help with software issues.
- Allows us access to specific things while offsite without opening up our firewall.
- It's secure. I think this speaks for itself.
- The interface can be frustrating to use sometimes.
- I've have issues with it crashing as I'm signing into the remote computer.
- It has the occasional issues with recognizing my login.
- Positive: It's allowed me to get some things done while out of town so there isn't an access issue to a building.
- Positive: We've been able to get some software issues worked out quicker since we didn't have to wait until someone could go across town.
- Positive: We could use it for free to test it out for our uses first.
