Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
Teamviewer is used to gain remote access to devices for the purpose of troubleshooting or installing company software. Teamviewer is also used to gain unattended access to workstations and servers after hours when employees are unavailable to assist with setting up a remote session. We sometimes use teamviewer to collaborate between technicians when working on a remote workstation.
- Unattended Access is a great feature that allows you to remote control a computer when the user is away from their workstation and unable to assist with a remote connection.
- TeamViewer is great to assist customers who do not currently have a remote viewing solution. The customer can download a small one time use exe and get a teamviewer number to join.
- TeamViewer gives a quick view of devices that are online and clues gives rudimentary ability to monitor remote devices for connectivity.
- The hardest part is determining what to download to support the customer. The downloads have similar names and it can be confusing for a layman to know which is the appropriate download.
- Eliminate issues with backwards compatibility that forces people to upgrade their version to support customers with newer teamviewer versions.
- Remove limitations on user licenses.
- Teamviewer allows me to support customers outside my geographic area that I would not have been able to support without it.
- Using unattended access allows my customers to work when they need and I can remote in afterwards and not impact their day.
- Cost of teamviewer is expensive compared to other solutions and that can be prohibitive to a small business.
Teamviewer provides an easy to install and configure solution that is much easier to deploy than its competitor ScreeConnect. Pricing is competitive and support has been excellent. Teamviewer has been in the space longer than must companies and has the experience to provide a seamless solution that requires little in setup and administration to get your team going.
