Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

TeamViewer is used to remotely log in and assist users with various problems. It is also useful in screen-sharing, meetings, and quick communication. The user interface makes logging into other computers very quick so that they may show work or seek help for a problem or project. There is also a built-in chat feature.
  • TeamViewer is awesome at remotely accessing computers. I have personally helped people this way more frequently when compared to being on-site. I have helped people at great distances, too. It has features to add computers into one account for easy access, or there is the ability to use a computer's unique code and temporary password to gain access if necessary. The convenience of this cannot be overstated!
  • Teamviewer's meeting capabilities leverage its extremely effective remote capabilities and include options for communicating on screen. There is a built in wipe board and pen, or a highlighter. You can see your partner's cursor to know where they are looking too.
  • Teamviewer is Secure. I love all the methods of setup and control. You can blacklist, you can whitelist, you set passwords in addition to the unique ID... I feel safe using the software.
  • I wish some of the options were labeled or explained differently. I have one computer that was difficult to access because of a setup goof - I had to request remote control access from the user. If they were not there to accept, I could not access. Great security, but not useful for off-hours updates, etc. It was a small chore to figure out why this was, and to change.
  • TeamViewer is a very valuable tool. I've been able to save on travel and third-party expenses.
TeamViewer is unbeatable in remote access. It is a double-click away from letting you support another machine. It has multi-monitor support built in, and the option to hear the remote PC's sound, or not. It can lock the computer upon breaking the connection for security, too. You can choose to forward key combinations, such as Ctrl + Alt + Del or Ctrl + Shift + Esc and more. Very well designed!

Yes - The mobile interface works very well. Upon connecting, there is a popup which provides instructions on controls and gestures. Once these are learned, the popup may be easily disabled. Screen orientation is easily set by the device, and multiple monitors on the remote machine work very well, and may be viewed by a simple button/ tap. It is fully-functional and powerful!
