Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TeamViewer most of the times to do the tasks remotely. We also ask our customers to install it for troubleshooting purpose.We use it in our company where we don't require to go to every user's workstation, we basically use TeamViewer to do the job for us. Customers can see what you are doing thus protecting privacy concerns. The software is compatible across different operating systems like MacOS, Windows, and Linux.

Compatibility with different operating systems.
Can do the required tasks remotely.
Easy to Install.

Cons

Slow file transfer service
They don't have versions for mobile
Version compatibility. Both versions should be compatible else the end user needs to update it to a compatible version

Return on Investment

Easy to install and use.
It's open source and free.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom and Slack

Used different products like TeamViewer. TeamViewer is free and a lot of end users know about installing the software as it is easy to install. Other products like Zoom have higher payment plans for purchasing and less number of users are supported with respect to TeamViewer. They generally come with compatibility issues with different operating systems.

It can be used in an organization where the company supports a lot of end users. Every end users workstation can install TeamViewer to be accessed remotely to troubleshoot problems.
