Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We used TeamViewer to remote into our customers servers to trouble shoot technical issues. It's important that we have a secure and reliable connection because we are dealing with sensitive health data.
- Secure connection.
- It's not as simple or straightforward for small team of users.
- Customer support is poor.
- Business practices are poor.
- It worked well for us for the first year, but they automatically renew your subscription with no notice. It's an annual subscription, and we did not think it was the best tool for us and we were looking to switch. So the second year we had to pay $600 for the tool even though we had switched.
Support was a weak spot. We had a lot of trouble getting a hold of support when we needed help live on a support call. They really tried to push you to a help center with documentation or via email.
Do you think TeamViewer delivers good value for the price?
Are you happy with TeamViewer's feature set?
Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?
Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?
Would you buy TeamViewer again?
If you need to continuously remote into other machines securely, this is an option. It's also helpful to control a team of support reps who you want to control access to specific machines. I do not believe it to be the best option on the market but if you can catch a flash sale, it can be a good value.
