Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
In my opinion, Teamviewer's business model seems be to lure people in with the free account, and then freeze their access when the usage exceeds some arbitrary limit. Reacquiring access requires subscribing for their business license, and the annual fee for this is very pricey (currently CDN $800). I think Teamviewer is also very cut-throat about automatic renewals. Buried in the subscription agreement is a clause providing for automatic annual renewal unless 28 days prior notice is given by the customer. Personally, I think Teamviewer does not warn the customer of an impending renewal, and if the customer tries to cancel the subscription even one day after the automatic renewal date they will insist on payment of the full year's subscription price. Other companies offering similar products take a more relaxed approach to termination. My suggestion is to explore other alternatives that are both cheaper and less predatory.
- Nothing is done particularly well in comparison to its competitors
- Reduce license fee.
- Eliminate automatic renewals, or warn of pending automatic renewal.
- Allow cancellation at any time upon 30 days notice.
- Positive to be able to remote access.

I chose Teamviewer based on the suggestion of a colleague, and I am now sorry I did given their poor business practices - see earlier comments.
