Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Installation and configuration of the TeamViewer does not pose a huge problem and we were able to install the software in our network within one week. Helping staff was organized in the form of training sessions to understand the different aspects that it offers and because of its rich graphical user interface, adoption was easy.
In our multinational company TeamViewer is helpful for remote IT support for the group lots of times when we landed up having trouble in various time zones. It can be useful for IT departments to manage and diagnose employees’ devices without occupying their physical contact time in order to continue their work. This means that the software runs well across numerous customer devices since it is unique in supporting many operating systems.

Pros

  • One of the major advantages of using TeamViewer is the ability for IT staff to support users while performing any maintenance during non-business hours.
  • The ability to transfer files makes the update process as well as download of logs easy and efficient.
  • The recording of the session also helps in training and documentation of compliance sessions.

Cons

Based on the present analysis, I recommend TeamViewer for organizations that need a tool to connect and control computers located at different places and on different devices. However, in a situation where internet connection remains unfavourable, the use of first solutions, which take less space and are designed for low-bandwidth environments, is justified.
