TeamViewer is worth it
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer addresses several different problems within an IT department setting, such as IT remote access, remote device control, session analytics, Tia, session recording, machine downtime multi-user support sessions, iOS and iPad screen sharing, and service desk. We predominantly use TeamViewer for remote device control, session analytics, fleet health monitoring and multi-user support sessions.
Pros
- Remote sessions
- Session Analytics
- Device Management
Cons
- Finding uses for AI features
- Advertisement of the other features that TeamViewer has
- Add a timer for how long the devices has been down
- Reduces travel time for remote locations by 2 hours a day, saving the company's time.
- Plays a critical role with managing our server
- Improves work flow for equipment deployments.
We saw economic benefits immediately.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan)
TeamViewer is superior with remote assistance when our user is at statile site where there is no VPN tunnel implemented. All we have to do instead is just send users an email with the invitation for remote access, and we can assist those who have trouble. Highly recommended when your organization can't afford to connect every satellite location with a VPN tunnel.
