Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

I use Text-Em-All to send out notifications for our church. This solves our problem of reaching all our congregants in a quick and easy way. I can send out a voicemail and a text all at the same time. I usually send between 1-10 messages a week. Sometimes if the weather is bad and we have to cancel, I can get a message out to everyone before they head out. This saves a lot of headaches. The messages go out very quickly. I get confirmation of a finished announcement within minutes for about 100 contacts. It also allows me to set up a message and send it out at a certain time of day which is really helpful.

Pros

  • Sends announcements out very quickly.
  • Ability to delay a message to a certain day/time.
  • Easily add or delete new contacts.

Cons

  • The mobile app doesn't work correctly.
  • I would like to see email as an option for sending messages as well as text/voice.
  • Ability to text/voicemail at the same time.
  • Chat feature if I have problems. Which is rare.
  • It always works.
  • Definite time savings.
  • Those who opt in to text messages, get them immediately.
  • I still use emails for those who don't want text/voicemails, but the response is slower.
I've only had to use support a couple of times, a long time ago. At that time the response and knowledge were very good. I was happy with the support I received.
Last winter we had an ice storm that forced us to cancel our services. I was able to send out the notification very early so that everyone got the message before heading out.

Last summer there was a church event where the participants were to meet at a certain location before the event started. About 30 minutes before the meetup I got a call from the event planner that the meetup location had changed. I was able to send out the message of the new location and everyone got it in time. That was a great save!
