Overall Satisfaction with Todoist

I'm a Director at our company and have a ton of different tasks to do during the day. Todoist is easy to use and great when I need to make tasks on the fly and remind myself to do things. I can use Siri and computer shortcuts to easily mind dump my thoughts into a task to look into later.

Pros

  • Keyboard Shortcuts
  • Dictating to Siri to add a task
  • Adding tasks directly to my calendar

Cons

  • I'd like to see sub-tasks handled a bit differently. It's tough to see the breakout of tasks right from the page.
  • Things are done in a more timely manner
It's easy to use. When I'm adding in the task, I can put in different tags and due dates right in the title and it automatically sets it based on that. I can set tasks to be recurring right when I'm adding them. It's easy to mind dump into a task and keep working.
Notion and ClickUp are pretty similar. I find them useful for an entire team, and for creating docs and things like that. For a basic task management system though, it's overkill and I would lose tasks constantly (not be able to find them). Trello is better for a flow with multiple people rather than a to-do system.

Notion, Trello
I've used a few different systems, and I've found this one to be the easiest to pick up. I find other systems are overkill and offer a wide variety of features that are good in theory, but never get utilized. Todoist keeps things simple for me.
