Overall Satisfaction with Todoist: To-Do List & Task Manager

While I was responsible for OEC's Field Services Group, I implemented Todoist throughout my team to help them better keep things moving in their work as field consultants. There are so many things that they need to follow up on and maintain to keep customers moving along and Todoist is an easy, app-based solution that facilitated that. My leadership team also shared projects amongst ourselves to keep each other on task and focused on a daily basis.
  • Time and location based reminders
  • Sharing of task visibility between leadership
  • App, desktop, and web versions to allow flexibility based on location
  • Easier ways to create filtering
  • Sharing could be easier to implement - once it's set it's good but it's not as easy as it could be
  • Simplicity of implementation
  • Ease of use
  • Location-based reminders
  • App is so simple to use
  • Location-based reminders ensured that my staff didn't miss things when they went onsite with a customer. This has led to renewals on a regular basis.
  • Sharing of task visibility for managers with their direct reports has enhanced 1-on-1 meetings and ensured that field coaches kept focused
  • The cost of Todoist vs. the value it creates is a huge selling point for the software. For the price per user, I've found nothing that even comes close!
There are so many task managers out there that it comes down to business needs and user preference. I selected Todoist because, for our particular business setup, it checked all the boxes. It's flexible, it's not limited to one ecosystem, and the price is exceptional. It can be integrated with things like Microsoft Outlook as well, which is a huge help when people are tied into that but don't find value in Microsoft To Do.

Do you think Todoist delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Todoist's feature set?

Yes

Did Todoist live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Todoist go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Todoist again?

Yes

I honestly don't know how I could do my work without Todoist. That's not hyperbole, it's fact. I'm fortunate that I've been using it for so long that I've just grown with it. It keeps me focused, reminds me when I need reminding, and has literally become my brain for a lot of things. I'm transitioning to a new job in a few weeks and have already begun building my Todoist structure to ensure I get off to a great start. It's hard for me to find any major flaws with Todoist - I just love it. Period.
