Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

The main purpose of purchasing Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* was to report out to staff daily on news stories we were featured in as well as local and national healthcare news. We also use Cision to spot trends and keep track of our competitors' coverage.


*This review was written before Cision aquired TrendKite. TrendKite is now part of Cision Communications Cloud.
  • The program is very easy to use.
  • Great customer service.
  • The reports feature is an easy way to prepare and present key information to leadership.
  • We are still running into problems with Cision's ability to pull AP stories.
  • When viewing a high number of results, such as a six-month coverage period, the sorting functions stop working.
  • Vocus
We previously used Vocus and had major issues with their clunky, out-dated platform. The process to modify a search was archaic and required a 30 minute conversation and a week of work on their part before it was changed. Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite) blows Vocus out of the water in their ability to measure broadcast, radio, and social media activity. Nowadays these measures are so important.
Overall we are very happy with Cision (TrendKite) and the customer service we have received. If you are looking for a way to easily and quickly monitor your media, Cision Communications Cloud is perfect. Some of the features do not seem fully developed but I have no doubt that they are actively working to make improvements.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

The customer service is fantastic. Every interaction I have had with our account manager and the various chat representatives has been great. Everyone is very willing to help and wants to make sure that everything is running smoothly.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

The platform is so easy to use and the chat help feature is great for quick questions. The only reason I didn't give a 10 was because of issues that we have had with the sorting and filtering functions.
