Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

We use Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* mainly in our communications department for daily monitoring so we can see press spikes and trends, as well as being aware of what is being said about our brand. We also use Cision in order to establish and compare month-to-month PR value.

*This review was written before Cision acquired TrendKite. TrendKite is now part of Cision Communications Cloud.
  • Customer Support - first and foremost, the support team (as well as the sales folks!) are absolutely on point at Cision. I can reach anyone within minutes, or use live chat for a quick question. They're extremely well versed in their product and offer simple solutions as well as direct education - all with no additional "consult" fee.
  • Education - From the first sales call to the most recent inquiry for dashboard help, the team at Cision has been wonderful at making sure their customers know how to use their program and get the most out of it. Our initial sales guy, Graham, was so patient with us as we went through the discovery process of looking for a new media monitoring tool. During each "sales call" he was so patient and wanted to collect whatever feedback we had in order to help us better understand the software. Now that we work directly with the customer support team, we couldn't be happier with the constant support and education.
  • Proactive - There have been several mornings that I've woken up to receive an email from someone on the support staff notifying me that they have built a dashboard in our account because they noticed new press spikes that we may be interested in tracking. It means a lot to know that our working relationship extends beyond the sales call, and that the team at Cision is committed to providing us with the best service and knowledge of their product so we can become better at tracking our brand.
  • I wish that on the social amplification "toggle" we could see where Twitter stands in comparison to other forms of social media.

I prefer to not divulge the other brands we tried, but I can say that we demo'd six different platforms this past year and we were 90% sure we would choose Cision after the first demo.
Cision Communications Cloud is great for daily, weekly or monthly reporting. There is no limit on how many dashboards or reports can be created so the sky is the limit when it comes to media monitoring.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

Their team is accessible within minutes. I never have to wait for a response. They're very proactive and quick to answer whether it's via live chat or a live call.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

We demo'd several media monitoring systems before ultimately choosing Cision Communications Cloud. We were always impressed with Cision's easy-to-use platform and dashboard access. That factor combined with an excellent support staff is why we ultimately choose to be part of Team Cision.
