Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We have a payroll contact and a Human Capital Consultant. The payroll contact is fantastic and responsive. The HCC is a disaster. I dread having to ask her a question because very rarely is she able to offer helpful advice or solve the issue in less than a week if at all.
Trinet is used as a full HR system. We use it for payroll as well as for an employee benefits/hr portal.

Pros

  • Payroll is easy to use and well automated.
  • Creating a new employee in the system is easy.

Cons

  • Customer support is awful. It is nearly impossible to get questions answered or problems solved if they are HR related.
  • It is very expensive.
  • Trinet has kept us compliant with tax filings, payroll, employee policies, etc.
  • Trinet has made employee termination especially difficult and problematic.
If you only need it for payroll and basic HR tasks, it's great. However, if you need a more robust system and the support that goes with it, look elsewhere.
