Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We have had a lot of turnover in our customer service rep. Also, response time can be a bit hit and miss. Fortunately, not that many questions come up because the system is easy to use.
The user interface (dashboard) is excellent. It is very easy to click around and find whatever information you need. We rarely get questions from employees as they figure out what they need by themselves.
Trinet is being used for payroll and benefits administration for our company. It is very helpful in that it has many offerings for our employees, is very easy to access through the dashboard, and gives the feeling of the advantages of a big company HR.

Pros

  • Benefits offering makes small companies competitive when hiring.
  • The dashboard is very easy to use to provide information on all aspects of HR so we do not have to have an HR person on staff.
  • Paid time off tracking is excellent.

Cons

  • Stock Option tracking system.
  • Benefit offering makes us competitive with large companies.
  • Allows our limited resources to not be focused on HR administrative matters. Employees are very happy with the system.
Trinet is particularly good for smaller companies (employees less than 20). I think it would be too expensive for a bigger company, and I think an actual HR person in a bigger company could handle day-to-day issues better.
