Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We are a TriNet PEO client since 2016 in California.
HR processes.
Information communication is fine but execution needs a lot of improvement. The change of the service model to TriNet Connect where we can only get in contact with the general email and 1800 phone # has been causing major service deficiencies.
The new TriNet Connect model is not working for us at all. I spent a lot of time getting basic payroll function completed with TriNet.
Starting in Nov, 2020, we have been experiencing major service declines with TriNet. A lot more time and multiple follow-ups are required to work with TriNet PEO/ Payroll services.
  1. TriNet no longer assigns Payroll or HR specialist to a client. All questions, issues, problems, and errors that were made by either TriNet or Client can only be resolved by emailing TriNet Connect which is a general email or calling their general 1800 phone #.
  2. There is no continuity for problem solving. Each time I called or email, a different person is handling the email or call. Multiple case # were created for the follow-up of the same case.
  3. Even when a payroll batch was submitted, if there is a problem, you can only send to the general email address or call the general line to get the problem resolved. This is significant dysfunction in TriNet service. As a result, our payroll and deductions may not be processed correctly on time.
  4. It takes several days and contacts for TriNet to resolve a problem. Very rarely, problems were resolved in less than 3 email contacts.
  5. After several phone calls and email reporting problems, TriNet assigned an account manager to us. However, the account manager never responded back by email or phone call after his initial introduction.
I sincerely hope TriNet's PEO/ Payroll service can be restored to its pre-2021 level.
