Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet was our PEO provider for 3.5 years. We hired them to run our payroll, provide benefits, and provide an HR platform.
  • Keep us informed of HR issues.
  • Accurate payroll.
  • Customer service for HR was awful.
  • Medical insurance premiums were very expensive.
  • We felt no one really cared about us.
  • Service felt very impersonal.
  • Had to go through a whole process to get answers to questions.
Their service was often slow, but we had a Customer Account Manager that seemed to care about us. After he left we had several managers, and one or two were great. Then TriNet changed their service model, and service levels really went down. Our final manager was very unresponsive, so if I had issues, I had to follow up for months. We left in early 2022, and I am so glad we did!
Website is quite good, help ticket system is not.
  • Allowed us to better compete with large companies for talent.
They did provide helpful information.

We have been a new PEO manager for 2 months and so far they are so much better! I get help promptly! Their insurance rates are much better, too.
Maybe they would give better service to a larger business. For our small business, they were not a good partner.
