Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet as our PEO to handle comprehensive HR and payroll functions. This includes payroll processing, managing employee benefits like health insurance and 401(k) plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and receiving HR advisory support for issues like onboarding and performance management.

Pros

  • Best in class account support from a dedicated customer relationship manager and a customer success consultant.
  • Intuitive and powerful online and mobile application for both employee and administrator use.
  • Access to many health benefits and carriers, including an EAP.
  • Always available employee and admin support through phone, email, and chat functions.
  • Simple and straightforward payroll processing.

Cons

  • Time and Attendance module does not truly integrate with the Payroll Processing module.
  • More intuitive report building.
  • Better applicant tracking system.
  • By outsourcing payroll and benefits administration, we've significantly improved payroll accuracy and reduced the time our small accounting team spends on admin tasks.

The platform is highly intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate for both admins and employees when handling everyday tasks like payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and HR reporting. The flexibility in HR and payroll features does not require a need for extensive training. The mobile app stands out as amazing, with a great interface that enables quick access to employee related items.
We have a dedicated customer relationship manager and a payroll customer success consultant who've been nothing short of amazing in their proactive approach to HR matters and expert troubleshooting when issues arise. For instance, our relationship manager regularly anticipates compliance changes, providing timely advice that helps us avoid pitfalls and stay ahead of updates. The payroll consultant has swiftly resolved errors on our end, always same-day, ensuring smooth and always on time payroll processing.

From our experience, this level of compliance support and expertise is the main reason why we continue our relationship with TriNet. We also have had the same account representatives from day one, and they both are rockstars!
