Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
This site is very helpful for getting the point of view for a product. I wasn't fully part of the buying project (not one of the decision makers), but was able see how the decisions were made on buying the product and provide input. It is great to see what folks have to say about product. This could be helpful when you are looking to buy or to see what is better out there.
- To understand my options (i.e. build my short list or long list)
- To compare products
- To determine what to ask a vendor
- To see what other users think of the product I am currently using
TrustRadius is very helpful, allowing you to gain the information needed about a product. It allows you to search for answers to any questions you may have through reading user reviews of a product. The reviews also allow you to see what people think about or how they liked/disliked a product you my currently be using.
When looking through all the reviews on a product I find it best to look for all the pros and all of the cons, which can be very helpful with any decision making. After pros and cons are researched, it allows you to paint a picture of how a product or products may or may not work for your business. Reviews that are most valuable are generally the ones that give you an accurate and detailed review on how it is used and if there the ease of use for the people using it.
It is valuable to have reviews that are accurate and detailed to assist in the purchasing process. It helps you view the pros and the cons of a product. This is very helpful in guiding you to a product that would work best for your business.

I have not used any other sources when looking up information on a product. I have found TrustRadius to be a very reliable source for information. I also believe TrustRadius also does a great job in getting highly detailed reviews from the folks that are using a product.
What stands out to me about TrustRadius is how genuine the reviews are and how easy it is to find and obtain the information I was looking for when researching new product. The reviews are taken from actual customers, and not someone like a salesperson that could stretch the truth on a product.
I believe the reviews can affect your interactions with a vendor in two different ways. The reviews can either help you build trust with a vendor or they can cause you to have a difference of opinion when interacting with them.
