I am a consultant where many of my clients are looking for tools to purchase, this includes antivirus, data loss prevention tools, mobile device management, vulnerability scanners, etc. I was helping guide them through the process of [evaluating] functionality and price.

- To compare products
- To determine what to ask a vendor
- To validate vendor claims
- To confirm my decision
- To find evidence to support my recommendation to colleagues or my client
- To see what other users think of the product I am currently using
I thought the reviews were thorough and unbiased. [After reading reviews] I would also take it a step further to use a free trial of the product before recommending it to my client.
I look for ease of use, pricing, and if it will meet the desired function to reduce information security risks to an organization.
Definitely [valuable], as you are able to have a better understanding of the true capabilities of the products.

- Updated interface. On the vendor page, you should move "Records per page" and "Show" drop downs to below where the reviews are, not at the top. Users just want quick access to see the reviews.
- When I want to compare products it would be nice to see the comparable antivirus products suggested, instead of me trying to figure out the different antivirus companies out there to choose which products to include in my comparison.
- It would also be nice to see specific categories in which the products are compared. When users review the product they can choose the number of stars for the different categories - for example, Ease of Use = 5 stars, Ease of Implementation = 3 stars, and give reasons why.
Just go on-line and browse, consumer reports!
