Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
We are using UKG Pro across the organization, as we implemented all modules except for the recruit portion of the Recruit/Onboard piece. It allows our team members a one-stop place to go for all their HR, employee self-service, learning, etc. needs. We replaced 17 disjointed, outdated systems with UKG Pro!
Pros
- employee self-service is modern, intuitive and robust
- NLP (Xander) functionality in the survey tools is phenomenal
- highly configurable, and HR is able to maintain without IT support
- workforce continuity has ben immensely helpful during the pandemic and wildfires
- the training is top notch! and Free! it really is a game changer
Cons
- the performance module is a little clunky in parts, though still really robust
- the benefits module (not Prime) is limited in comparison to other modules
- managing the org structures in Dimensions poses some challenges - automation would be fantastic
- cannot push internal candidates through Onboarding to Core, and this would be a massive improvement
- we replaced 17 disparate systems with one UKG Pro/UKG Dimensions!
- HR is able to own system management effectively, saving a great deal on IT consulting costs our previous systems necessitated
- it used to take almost 24 hours to run payroll, and now it's drastically reduced
UKG Pro offered the greatest amount of functionality as well as the lowest need for massive amounts of IT support, and all at an economical price point

the implementation team (Breanne Gomez and Joanne Park in particular) were absolutely amazing on the core side, and Jeff Nagengast and Springs Wade have been outstanding on the Dimensions side. Fred Davis was our primary sales contact, and he remained supportive after the purchase was complete. I'm grateful for all of them!
