Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

CHS uses most modules of UKG Pro across the whole organization which includes 87 hospitals. It addresses one system for all companies.

  • Versatility with Recruiting and Onboarding, UKG does not allow customs in these modules

  • allowed for centralizing Payroll and HR functions
UKG Pro is much more intuitive and user friendly.
Normally UKG Pro loads quickly. We had been having major issues with reports running in a timely manner but recently they broke out our virtual server to another instance where is wasn't sharing resources and that seems to have helped reporting run more efficiently.
In the past, we had very good support. We are noticing a decline in the last few months. Our primary people we work with, Gianna, Jay Shipley and Stephanie O'Keefe are all excellent.

Yes, almost every time I speak to Jay Shipley I get exceptional support
UKG Core works very well for the most part. CHS is a very complex organization especially in the corporate office. A more robust Compensation Module would be beneficial. We could not use what was delivered due to multiple reasons but one being employee movement.
Recently in Employee File Management we found that if a Note is placed on a person and the option to Notify All who have access to employee box is chosen, for us it sends a Notification ALL the way up to the Company CEO. So, a Hospital HR Generalist just expected her hospital personnel to be notified. This is an instance where UKG Pro is great for smaller companies but harder for larger companies such as CHS to use some of its features.
