Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
UKG was our first HRIS system, before them we were completely paper-based. We implemented with them in 2017 at first only using Time management. Eventually, we also added onboarding.
- User/employee side it was easy to use.
- We enjoyed the messaging/SMS capabilities.
- Support was lacking.
- Admin side was not as user friendly.
- Reporting is complicated and not easy to access.
- Time management and Payroll/Employee data were separate so the 2 sides didn't talk to one another very well (ie, reports were harder to run, payroll errors, lots of extra data entry on "both sides").
- Very expensive for what you get.
- Communication with Support and Account Managers was poor.
- Lots of missing functionality- modules didn't flow or talk to each other.
- Not a good return on investment.
- Processes were not time saving or efficient.

While on the platform we were able to automate Time and Attendance which was previously paper time cards so that was a plus.
