Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
UKG Pro is used for all our HR, payroll, training, and workforce management solutions. This replaced three legacy systems and combined them into one. I use this for viewing my pay, selecting my benfits, submitting my yearly reviews and taking HR training courses. Overall this software provides quite a bit of information all in one place.
Pros
- viewing payroll
- seeing selected benefits
- tracking career development
Cons
- personal deveopment is hard to configure and view
- some viewing windows are not intuitive to navigate
- provide better options for exporting reports and data
- streamlined the HR management into one tool
- encoruages enployee engagement by going to one place for information instead of multipile locations
- provides tools for tracking and viewing training media
This allowed the benefits portal to be moved into one tool eliminating the need for other software. UKG Pro is more intiutive and is easier for employees to view and select their benefit choices. It also streamlined the yearly review process into a central location that both emplyees and managers can view and process.
It is very easy to see pay statements and I was able to catch a deduction for my HSA plan that was not what I had wanted. I was able to contact payroll and resolve the issue before the next pay period. It also tracks my time off so I know exactly what time i have available.
Workday has more features like better payroll integration and talent managment and training but seems to be less user friendly than UKG Pro. UKG Pro also appears less bloated and a more refined user interface but with less robust features in certain areas. Workday seems to have better integration with third party scheduling tools.
