Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We use it for HR file management including tracking licenses and credentialing, we also use the LMS, UTM, and payroll. We are working on implementing People Assist and Doc Manager.

Pros

  • Organizes information well
  • Layout of employee file
  • Reporting has endless limits

Cons

  • More support in implementation
  • Require businesses to have 2 SMEs and create tracks for them that are required, 1 main and 1 backup SME
  • We do not use the system for recognition
  • Engagement is difficult, it's another system for folks to log into
  • It allows us to pull live data and know HR dash board data in real time
Centralize license and certification credentialing, centralized employee changes
Reporting in UKG can offer quick analysis, however there are wish list items, like building in different trackers for government requests that we receive annually.
I like the general outlay of UKG and I think the tool is very powerful. The name recognition is great but I think our lack of understanding of the full power of the system is a detriment. Offering a more "spoon fed" level of support is desired since HR folks are generally not tech savvy at that level.

UKG Pro requires businesses to have tech savvy teams who know how to configure systems, that is not normally a skill that lives in HR, it normally lives in IT which isn't necessarily appropriate
