Use Cases and Deployment Scope

UKG is used throughout our organization for payroll, time & attendance, benefits, and performance management. We have not implemented the recruiting module yet. UKG has helped to streamline manual processes for our company.

Pros and Cons

Learning resources
Onboarding

Cumbersome areas: BI reporting, benefits module (especially open enrollment).
Having to submit cases to resolve simple issues is a hassle.

Return on Investment

Time savings: No longer tracking PTO manually/onboarding.

Alternatives Considered

Paylocity

We had Paylocity previously and felt that UKG was much more robust. I believe UKG is better but can be harder to use at times especially the back end step-up of certain things.

Performance

The system seems to run pretty well. I do think since the merger with Kronos I have noticed the system is slower or down at times more frequently.

Support Rating

Responses can be slow at times and take up to a week. Everyone we deal with at UKG is nice and helpful.

Likelihood to Recommend

Overall, I think it's a good system while not the easiest to use. You really need to understand the back end and how it affects the rest of the system.
