Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
UKG Pro is being used by our entire organization. It is utilized as our HR software to store all employee information, annual benefit elections, time management, payroll, and reporting. It's allowed us to go paperless as an HR Department. It has also allowed for in-depth, accurate reporting of information including turnover which has been a huge focus. UKG Pro is really our one-stop shop.
- Storing employee information
- Reporting can be difficult if you are new to it, but many enhancements have been made recently.
- Role administration with new releases.

With it being 6 years since we shopped and selected UKG Pro, I don't remember the specific names of the other products we looked at and I don't want to give false information. I do recall that some of the others were very "flashy" and the employees were not helpful. UKG Pro's customer service stood out from the others.
Overall we have very few issues with UKG Pro. The only area that we struggle with from time to time is the reporting functionality. Rarely, the reports don't run or the opposite happens when there is a glitch and the system sends out several notifications at once. This is something that has been reported and they are working to fix.
Most generally, the support is great. There was a period of time where I think that UKG expanded possibly a little too quickly and didn't have the support available to assist all customers. That has significantly improved, but rapid response sometimes still feels like you get someone that is a little too green and cannot immediately solve your issue.
Recently, we had an issue with communication, which impacted a report that we were working on. It got to the point where we needed to get several members of the team all the way up at UKG involved. While this situation started out negative and frustrating, once we had the right people involved, we were able to find a solution and get our information corrected. After this was done, UKG didn't just let it be the end. They spent time with us to dig deeper to find out what happened before our account manager got involved and used it as a learning experience for them to make sure it never happened again.
UKG has been great for our company to get everyone on the same page. We've been able to post announcements, links to surveys, and documents all in one place. These documents vary from a handbook to benefits information to training documents. This is great for an HR department looking to get everything in one place.
