Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
The entire organization uses this as our HRIS, as well as timekeeping. We are in the process of implementing the Onboarding and Recruitment portion. It currently maintains the employee personnel records, from hire to separation. It allows employees to access their information at anytime, from anywhere. We are a bit behind in utilizing the many parts of this system, but the more we add, the happier we are.
Pros
- Maintaining accurate timekeeping records for all employees, particularly the hourly staff.
- There are many reports available and we customize them to fit our needs.
- Training is exceptional, and easy to access.
- I can't wait to have our Onboarding tools activated. I believe this will reduce tons of time for our recruiters, and allows us to be proactive in getting new staff ready to work quicker.
Cons
- Your service team is always pleasant and helpful, but because of your success, or their success, we have gone through them at the rate of about one each year. This means our rep never has a chance to really know us.
- I know you are worldwide, but offering off-site training would be my preference, especially for BI reporting. The online classes are very good, but it is hard to do these from a busy work environment. There is also little personalized assistance available when you do these online.
- First I must comment that our rep is VERY responsive and EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant to work with. But in implementing recent system changes, he was not as thorough as I would have expected. He was very agreeable, and quick to respond, assumed he understood, and missed several details which I would have expected him to catch. From our perspective, over the years, we have found we must "trust - but verify".
- We have had a large number of staff who cannot request time off through the UTM system. Their Request screen just comes up blank. This causes their supervisors and the staff themselves, to not trust the Ultipro system as much as they should. This has been going on since Thanksgiving! That is way too long for a problem not to be resolved. ON the other hand - when it works, I love the new Request screens.
