Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

UltiPro is being used to process payroll, and it solved our problems with student employment. They were still using paper timesheets so we implemented UltiPro Time Management (UTM) with touchbase tablets.

Pros

  • Employee HR functions particularly self service, view pay info, w2's benefits.
  • We do not use for employee time so therefore do not use it for PTO requests but I think the other self service features allow for users to see all info conveniently.
  • Process payroll.

Cons

  • Handling of multiple jobs. Our student employees have multiple jobs across depts UTM does not handle this correctly.
  • Combination of UTM and core package should be standard (not a customization) so we can report.
  • Cognos reporting can be cumbersome.
UltiPro is well suited for payroll.

We had some issues last year at year end because of errors by a user entering benefit data after payroll
Our customer rep jumped in and worked with folks on the phone to get the issues resolve. I find the representative is extremely helpful and always responds quickly to our requests.

For most items it is very intuitive.
