Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

It is being used across our organization. It serves as our HR system of record as well as our payroll system.

Pros

  • It provides a simplified web-based solution that is more user-friendly than back office.
  • It's fairly configurable, and we can make it fit our company's unique needs.

Cons

  • It does not have a robust future-dating capability.
  • Time savings
  • Consolidating HR administration under a single solution
  • Security and peace of mind
I think we're on our way. To be honest, we're not using the system in the intended ways and not to its full capacity so that plays a part in why we haven't realized some of these.
In terms of how robust the solutions are, UltiPro ranks ahead of the others. Where they may rank ahead of UltiPro is configurability and flexibility.
I think UltiPro is best for mid-size companies who have several locations and hierarchy levels. I think it may be overkill for a smaller organization.

UltiPro Support

Customer service is one of the things that Ultimate does better than most software companies. Even where their software might lack in functionality they make up for it in consulting with the customer and helping them accomplish the desired business outcome.

UltiPro Reliability

There are a wealth of business processes in UltiPro that allow you to scale up your HRIS as your headcount or lines of business increase. There are a few ancillary modules that aren't fully there yet in terms of development (i.e., Compensation).
