Overall Satisfaction with Vimeo Pro

Vimeo provides our marketing team a video platform to host internal and public facing videos.

Pros

  • Easy upload tools make it a snap to add to your video library
  • Extensive video player customization and playback options
  • Easy to navigate user interface

Cons

  • Needs Marketo and Salesforce integration
  • More advanced video gating options
  • Would be nice to order close caption files direct from Vimeo to incorporate in as subtitles and in different languages
  • Vimeo hosted video embeds have boosted overall onsite page views 10% to our corporate website
  • Vimeo hosted videos have increased internal content consumption 20%
Similar in nature. Integration with MAP and SFDC were a bit more built out and native with Wistia. Folder management is on par with both.
Perfect solution for those just getting started building out their video library that plan to simply embed the video files or point traffic directly to the Vimeo page. Lacking advanced marketing toolsets like Vidyard and Brightcove might offer.
