Overall Satisfaction with VMTurbo Operations Manager
VMTurbo Operations Manager is being used by the IT department to help optimize our virtual environment in an more automated fashion.
Pros
- Move VMs to better utilize memory and cpu on the hosts.
- Analyze and optimize storage usage for the VMs.
- Give an insight on future needs.
Cons
- It is functioning just great for our needs.
- Increase efficiency....don't have to to spend time analyzing data.
Haven't used anything else.
Using VMTurbo Operations Manager
1 - Network Administrator
1 - In our situation, the Network Administrator is the person in charge of the VMWare infrastructure so he is the one that uses VMTurbo
- Assists with balancing VM's across the hosts
- Assists with balancing storage across the hosts/vms
- Assists with sizing recomendations
- It has been a great help in determining cpu and ram sizing
- I don't use as such, but the planning and deploy features would probably be very helpful
