Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
Our organization uses WatchGuard AuthPoint for two factor authentication into our workstations which authenticate using Active Directory. It is being used across our entire company. AuthPoint solves the problem of ensuring security and compliance.
- Easy to set up.
- Easy to use.
- Approval using push notification is a big plus. Makes it easy to authenticate without opening the app, or from an Apple Watch..
- It's a pain as an administrator to get into a local account when AuthPoint is installed.
- I believe it's bypassed when launching Windows in safe-mode.
- Increased security is priceless.
I've used Duo, Authy and Google Authenticator for non-work-related accounts. I didn't have any say in initially choosing AuthPoint for our organization and haven't had any big enough reason to recommend we switch away.
Our organization has benefited from that simplicity. Being able to manage it from anywhere is a big plus.
