Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
We use WatchGuard AuthPoint to provide 2 factor authentication for our VPN users. We currently use IKEv2 VPN offered through our WatchGuard firewall. We wanted to provide an extra layer of security for any internal user looking to access our network remotely.
Pros
- 2 Factor Authentication
- Multiple options to approve access.
- Available mobile apps so you don't need to purchase extra equipment.
Cons
- I see no issues. It was easy to set up and works great.
- All users that I have set up said this was really easy.
- We are impressed.
- All postive.
- Easy to use.
- Very secure.
Our school uses Google for email and are in the process of making all users use 2 factor authentication. In this case, use push notifications to approve access.
We have benefited as it has provided an extra layer of security for remote users.
All users have been really impressed and have mentioned how easy it is to use.
We are in the process of enabling SSO on multiple platforms within our district. This should make things super easy for users as it will only require users to remember one password.
