Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My company uses MS Teams internally, but we consume Webex App to collaborate with external vendors such as Cisco employees, via Spaces. As a Cisco partner, we utilize Cisco Webex Webinars via Webex App as well to keep up to speed with the latest Cisco marketing, sales, and technical collateral.

Pros and Cons

Microsoft Teams

We use MS Teams internally and externally within our organization. Webex App is only used to collaborate with external vendors such as Cisco, via shared spaces between partner and vendor. Both products are on par with each other.

Support Rating

I think the technical support response window can be improved from 24hrs to 3hrs, similar to what Microsoft currently offers. In terms of product support, Cisco does listen to its consumers and does release frequent product updates to address any issues or offer product enhancements. The Webex Community page needs better responses to users' posts that highlight any issues experienced.

Usability

Webex App does not provide enough audio feedback for users with
visual disabilities to properly navigate the tool. Students, faculty,
and staff who are blind or have low vision may not be able to use Webex App. Comprehensive tool to deliver chat, voice, and video channels effectively.Excellent 3rd party integration with other vendors.

Likelihood to Recommend

You can easily conduct internal or external communications via Webex App on any device, at any time, using any internet medium reliably. Needs better support when conducting large training events. Saved loads of travel time and cost and reduced our carbon footprint with less air travel.
