Overall Satisfaction with WebEx Meetings

Different departments use Web Ex independently to speak with clients or vendors. It allows us to connect many different people in many different locations to ensure we are all on the same page. It is a great way to make sure everyone hears and sees the same message at that same time.
  • It is very user friendly.
  • It is well known in the business world.
  • The meetings can be recorded and played back.
  • There is no ability to breakaway for smaller groups to have individual discussions.
  • Because WebEx has free services, and is still a great product, it is a great tool for any company to use without adding unwanted additional expenses.
  • I know that WebEx does have some services that do have a cost associated with them, but I have heard it is expensive.
  • Blue Jeans Conferencing
I prefer WebEx to Blue Jeans. WebEx seems to have far less connectivity issues.
For our company which is German owned and has locations around the globe, it is a great way to span time zones and is compatible with most of the software and files we utilize.

Using WebEx Meetings

Different departments use it independently.
4 - We have our IS department that will assist us as they would any other software we use.
  • It allows us to connect with people all over the world.
  • It is compatible with the software and file types we use daily.
  • It allows for recording and playback.
  • When people need to have a discussion even with very short notice, a WebEx meeting can be set up very quickly.
  • We haven't really had discussions about it's usage and abilities but could make sure all departments are aware of its abilities.

We have yet to find a better solution.

There was not a need for an evaluation and selection process. The reputation of the product alone was sufficient.
