Overall Satisfaction with WebEx Meetings

WebEx is scattered throughout the organization and previous organizations i've worked for. WebEx integrates well with a variety of services and physical platforms we use allowing us to have a singular platform to collaborate on. This platform really solves the question of how to we actively collaborate and share with remote employees by allowing us to quickly create meetings for on the fly sharing.
  • It is very easy to set up a webex meeting. This allows teams to quickly get together and on the same page during critical events
  • Webex is a robust platform offering a variety of options to connect. Whether you're travelling or in office there's a way to dial in and begin sharing
  • Webex is reliable. Along with the ease of use this platform never fails us and always delivers.
  • Some of the products this platform is developed to work on can be a pain to get launched and connected at times. General use and setup is easy but some of the cisco integrations are a little tedious
  • the software itself is a little 'busy', unlike some of the other meeting platforms there are a large amount of options available, and while this is a benefit for some, some of the less frequent users might find it a bit difficult.
  • WebEx has had a positive impact allowing our spread out team to get together and collaborate with video conferencing and really connect with members that we wouldn't otherwise see or really know. This helps you further relate and connect with team members in different regions
  • Another positive impact is it integrates well with some of our physical hardware, allowing sharing in large conference rooms
WebEx is simply more robust than GoToMeeting. There's more functionality just in general. The downside to this is GoToMeeting is very very simple to use and implement, while it doesnt have the numerous integrations, for general sharing and meeting it is a simpler platform. WebEx as mentioned is more robust, they both have their use cases and WebEx is a better platform for technical sharing and collaboration
WebEx Meetings is well suited in an environment where you would want to meet with people in different states/countries and be able to fully immerse the team in a meeting (video chat, screen sharing, etc.). This platform is very robust and might not be necessary in an environment where you simply need to get on a call with people and discuss things.
